About the PM8-EX
Noise Filtration & Surge Protection
Every one of the eight outlets is filtered and surge protected, so the whole rack or desk is covered by one unit rather than a chain of strips.
Eight AC Outlets with Transformer Spacing
The outlets are spaced to take wall-wart transformers and right-angle plugs without blocking the neighbouring socket, so the nameplate count is the usable count.
Accepts Add-on Signal Line Modules
Signal line modules drop in to accommodate system expansion, so telephone, network or coaxial protection can be added later without replacing the base unit.
Exclusive Protect or Disconnect™ Circuitry
Safeguards equipment against all surges. In the event of a catastrophic surge such as lightning, it completely disconnects AC power to connected equipment.
