About the PB523118
Prime builds this one for the desk or entertainment centre where the outlets are only half the job. Alongside eight outlets and 3600 Joules of surge protection, the housing carries coax protection for CATV, satellite and broadband, plus RJ11 and RJ45 jacks for phone, fax and DSL — so the lines that arrive on a cable are defended as well as the ones that arrive on a plug.
Five of the outlets are grounded and three are wide-spaced, which is what lets an oversized transformer plug sit without covering its neighbour. A 6ft cord on a right-angle plug lets furniture stand closer to the wall, and the on/off switch has a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker built in against overloads. Protected and grounded indicator lights report status at a glance. Indoor use only, rated 1875 watts at 15 amps.

Prime Limited Warranty
Prime warrants this surge protector against defects in material and workmanship. The full limited warranty, together with the conditions that void it, is published by Prime and linked under Resources.
Proper use
If the Protected indicator light goes out, the surge protector has served its purpose and must be replaced. Continuing to use it after the indicator light has burned out is misuse, and voids the limited warranty.
Conditions that void the warranty
Indoor use only. Do not use in receptacles that are not properly grounded, daisy-chain surge protectors, plug the unit into an extension cord, or use it with a UPS, a generator, a three-to-two-prong adapter, or heat-producing appliances.
